On the night of his arrest, Jesus told his disciples that He must go away, and to a place they could not come.Naturally, the disciples did not understand. They experienced confusion and fear at their master leaving for places unknown.
Understanding their emotions, Jesus said to them, “Let your heart not be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me”. He continued on to tell them about his father’s house of many mansions and how, once He had prepared a place for them, He would come to get them.
This is a glorious promise to all. If we believe in Jesus and his promise to take us to His Father’s eternal mansion, we have no reason for our hearts to be troubled.
